Accessibility features on your library's OverDrive website

You can use any of the following accessibility options while browsing and reading titles on your library's OverDrive website.

Screen readers

OverDrive library websites are navigable with screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, iOS VoiceOver, and Android Talkback.

You can enable dyslexic font while browsing your library's OverDrive website and reading ebooks in your browser.

High contrast

To view your library's OverDrive website in high contrast, adjust the contrast settings for your device or browser. These settings usually appear under "Appearance," "Theme," "Accessibility," "Contrast," or similar.

Keyboard shortcuts while reading or listening

You can use a keyboard to navigate the ebook reader and audiobook player. To see the list of keyboard shortcuts, open an ebook or audiobook in your browser, then press Shift + /.

Ebook appearance

You can customize the appearance of ebooks while reading in your browser, including the text size, font, and lighting (bright, sepia, or dark). To adjust these settings, open an ebook and select Appearance.

Note: Some settings aren't available for ebooks with a fixed layout, such as picture books, graphic novels, and read-alongs.
