What is OverDrive?
OverDrive is a free service offered by your library or school that lets you borrow digital content (like ebooks and audiobooks) anytime, anywhere. Every OverDrive collection is slightly different because each library or school picks the digital content they want for their users.
All you need to get started with free digital content from your library or school is a library card or student ID.
Explore the sections below to learn about some of the things you can do with OverDrive.

Libby (for public libraries)
If you belong to a public library, you can use the award-winning Libby app to borrow and enjoy digital content from your library.
Sora (for schools)
Sora is made just for students and is available for schools who use OverDrive.
The OverDrive app (for Fire tablets)
The original OverDrive app lets you borrow and enjoy digital titles on Fire tablets (and on other devices in select countries).

Through OverDrive, you can borrow Kindle Books to read on Kindle devices or Kindle reading apps.
Note: Kindle Books are currently available for U.S. libraries and schools only.
