If you no longer want a device linked to your OverDrive account, or you've reached the maximum number of devices you can have in your account (6), you can remove a device using the steps below.

Manage your devices from overdrive.com

  1. Sign into your OverDrive account at overdrive.com.
  2. Click your name in the top-right corner, then select Settings.

  3. Select Devices under the "Account Settings" header.

  4. Click Delete next to the device you want to remove, then Confirm. The device will be removed from your account.

Manage your devices from the OverDrive app

On Android, Chromebook, and iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch) devices

  1. Open the Home menu (select the icon in the top-left corner).
  2. Select Account, then Manage account.
  3. Sign in (if prompted), then select Devices.
  4. Select Delete, then Confirm.

On Windows 8/10 devices

  1. Open the Settings menu in the top-right corner.
  2. Select OverDrive account, then Manage account.
  3. Sign in (if prompted), then select Devices.
  4. Select Delete, then Confirm.
