Choose the image below that looks like the titles in your library's collection.
You can tell which titles are available for checkout by looking at the availability banners along the top of each jacket, as well as the action link beneath the title.
When a title is available for checkout, the banner says "Available." There's also a Borrow link beneath the title so you can check it out right away.
When a title isn't available to borrow, you'll see one of four banners:
- A "Wait list" banner means all copies of the title are checked out, but you can place a hold on it.
- A "Coming soon" banner means the title hasn't been released yet, but you can place a hold on it.
- A "Not owned" banner means that the digital title isn't owned by your library yet, but you can recommend it to your library for purchase.
- An "Unavailable" banner means that the title isn't available for checkout and can't be placed on hold or recommended.
You can tell which titles are available for checkout and which are not using the format icons in the top-right corner of each jacket.
When a title is available for checkout, the icon in the corner is filled in.
When a title is unavailable, the icon is grayed out.
Unavailable titles may be placed on hold so that you can borrow them as soon as they become available.
The icon also denotes the media type for each title. In our example, the icon is a pair of headphones, indicating an audiobook.
