You can use OverDrive for Windows (desktop) to listen to audiobooks on your computer.

Note: If you're using Windows 8 or newer, you can also install OverDrive for Windows 8/10. Learn about the differences between OverDrive for Windows 8/10 and OverDrive for Windows (desktop) here.

Listening to audiobooks

From OverDrive for Windows (desktop), select a downloaded audiobook and click the Play button to start the player. If you have not yet downloaded an audiobook, learn how to borrow and download titles on your computer here.

  1. Play part
  2. Play media marker
  3. Position slider
  4. Add a bookmark
  5. Adjust playback speed
  6. Go back 15 seconds
  7. Most recent or furthest point played
