Yes. If you want to download the same eBooks to the OverDrive app on multiple devices, always authorize (or sign into) the app with the same OverDrive account, Facebook account, library card (if this option is supported for your library), or Adobe ID.

If you want to download the same eBooks to both the OverDrive app and Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on a computer, you'll need to authorize ADE and the app with the same OverDrive account or Adobe ID.

Note: You won't be able to authorize ADE with your library card or Facebook.

How many devices can I use?

No matter which kind of authorization you choose, you can download the same eBooks on up to six devices.

If you're using an OverDrive account or Facebook, you can manage your authorized devices by signing into overdrive.com and going to Account > Devices.

If you're using an Adobe ID and you reach the activation limit, contact Adobe Customer Service and ask them to reset your Adobe ID.

Under-13 authorization

If you authorized the OverDrive app using the I am under 13 years old option, any eBooks you download to that device can't be downloaded on other devices.

If you have multiple devices, we recommend that users under the age of 13 sign into the OverDrive app using a library card (if this option is supported for your library). Like the "I am under 13 years old" option, the library card option doesn't require you to provide any personal information (like your email address), but it will let you authorize multiple devices so you can download the same eBooks on each one.
