Normally, your library's OverDrive-powered website only shows titles that are compatible with the computer or device you're using to browse and borrow titles. However, if you browse your library's online catalog and you click a link for an OverDrive title, that title will open in your library's OverDrive-powered website, but you may not see a Borrow option. Instead, you will see the "Borrowing and downloading are disabled for this device" message shown below. This means that the title is not available in a format that is compatible with the computer or device you're using.

You may also see this error if you're browsing for titles to recommend to your library and you select a title that isn't available in a format that your library supports.

If neither of these scenarios applies to you and you're still seeing this error message, it may be because your library has run out of licenses to lend the title. In this case, please contact a library staff member for more information.
