OverDrive for Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch), and Windows 8 is compatible with most accessibility programs and apps (including native ones like TalkBack, VoiceOver, and Narrator). You can use any of these readers to navigate the app, browse for content, and listen to audiobooks.

Most screen readers will also read the text of an eBook, but it isn't fully supported and may not function ideally.

If you'd like to read accessible eBooks on your computer, we recommend downloading EPUB eBooks with Adobe Digital Editions because it's compatible with most screen readers.

If you'd like to read accessible eBooks on your mobile device, you can borrow Kindle Books (U.S. only) and read them using screen readers made for Android, iOS, and Windows PCs.
