eBook titles containing certain special punctuation marks (such as -, #, or &) will load correctly in Adobe Digital Editions, but you may not be able to find them on your Kobo eReader after transferring. To resolve this error, remove the punctuation from the eBook file name and transfer it again using the steps below.
How to make the missing title show up
- Connect your Kobo Reader to your computer.
- Browse to your Kobo in your file browser.
Windows: Open [My] Computer then double-click on your Kobo.
Mac: Open Finder, then open your Kobo.
- Browse to the eBook you want to read, then rename the file and/or folder name, removing any special characters from it.
- Safely disconnect your Kobo.
You should now be able to find and open the transferred eBook on your Kobo.
