Choose the image below that looks like the titles in your library's collection.
Like physical books, most digital titles from your library are purchased as individual copies and can only be borrowed by one person at a time. If all of the library’s copies are checked out, you have to place a hold on the title and wait for it to become available.
Because lending periods vary and users can return titles if they finish early, we can't accurately measure how long you will have to wait before you can borrow a title.
Instead, you'll see your position on the wait list and the number of library copies on your Holds page.
If you're looking for something to borrow while you wait, you can select in the top-right corner of the hold, then select You may also like.

You can check your position on a title's wait list by visiting your library's digital collection and looking at your Holds page (under your Account).
Note: Not all libraries show your holds position.
