After you borrow a title in the OverDrive app, select Download or Add to bookshelf to add the title to your app Bookshelf (home screen).

Then, follow these steps to find the title on your app Bookshelf:

  • On Android, Chromebook, and iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch): Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of the app to open the Home menu, then tap Bookshelf.
  • On Windows 8/10: Click or tap the Back arrow in the top-left corner of the app until you return to the app home screen, which contains your app Bookshelf.

What about titles that don't have a "Download" or "Add to bookshelf" button?

Some titles, like read-alongs and graphic novels, can't be downloaded to the OverDrive app. Instead, you can select Read now in browser to open these titles in your device's web browser. These titles won't be added to your app Bookshelf.
