You may need to reinstall iTunes if you're having trouble transferring an audiobook to an Apple device through OverDrive's desktop app. It may help resolve issues like this one: "Transfer Wizard is not able to connect to iTunes, requires v9.0.2 or newer" or the 0x800706BA error in iTunes.
Follow the instructions on Microsoft's support website to uninstall iTunes.
- Download iTunes.
- After the download is complete, double-click the installation file.
- Follow the steps to complete the installation.
- When installation is complete, click Finish.
- Launch iTunes to complete the reinstall.
Once you've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, please try transferring the audiobook again. If you're still having trouble, please try reinstalling OverDrive's desktop app.
