Sometimes minor communication issues or Adobe server outages can cause errors (like a "List Change" error) when you try to open an eBook in Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). If you see an error like this, use the following steps to resolve the problem:
- Delete the eBook that's causing issues from ADE, without returning it to your library.
- Delete the title's ACSM (or EPUB) file from your computer. You can do this by searching your computer for *.acsm (or *.epub) and deleting the file with the same name as the eBook that's causing issues.
- Clear your temporary internet files.
- Download the title from your library's digital collection again and open it immediately.
