You can find OverDrive's mobile app in the NOOK app store for your NOOK Color, Tablet, HD, and HD+. OverDrive Media Console (OMC) is a great way to enjoy eBooks and audiobooks from your local library on the go.
The NOOK HD and HD+ both have access to the Google Play store. Because of this, you'll be able to download and install OMC using your Google account, which requires no credit cards. Note: If you're looking at this page on your NOOK right now, just click here to be taken directly to OMC in Google Play.
To install using Google Play:
Open your App Drawer from your home screen.
Tap Google Play. You may be required to sign in or register. To do so, simply follow the on-screen prompts.
Search for “OverDrive” in Google Play.
Follow the on-screen prompts to install OMC.
Since your NOOK uses the Android version of OverDrive Media Console, our articles on how to borrow titles, activate your Adobe ID, read eBooks, or listen to audiobooks on Android devices should help you out.
Before you can install the OMC app from the NOOK store, you'll need to register your device and set up a credit card on your account. If you need help with any of that, check out Barnes & Noble's support page.
From your home page, push the n button, then tap Apps.
Tap the SHOP NOW link near the top of the screen.
Type OverDrive Media Console into the search bar, then tap Search.
Tap Free, then Confirm next to OMC.
OMC is now in your library. Go back to your Apps screen, then tap the OMC icon to get started.
