Open EPUB and Open PDF eBooks can be borrowed and downloaded to a computer or mobile device. From there, you can enjoy these eBooks with your favorite program or app, such as Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on a computer, or OverDrive Media Console (OMC) on a mobile device (for Open EPUBs only).
Install OverDrive Media Console to borrow and download Open EPUBs directly to your device:

Borrow and download an Open EPUB or Open PDF eBook using either your Windows or Mac computer. You can use a variety of eBook reading programs to open the downloaded file. If you don't already have a favorite eBook reading program, we suggest giving Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) a try.
