How to enjoy eBooks with OverDrive's mobile app for Windows Phone

You can open OverDrive Read titles in your web browser or use OverDrive Media Console (OMC) to download and read EPUB eBooks from your Windows Phone device.

Note: OverDrive Read only works with Windows Phone 8.

Reading eBooks with OverDrive Read

To read eBooks using OverDrive Read, you need Windows Phone 8 and access to an updated website.
Click here to learn how to tell if your library website has been updated.
Open OverDrive Read eBooks from the bookshelf on your library's digital collection website. You can access your library's digital collection website using the Get Books feature in OverDrive Media Console (OMC). Click Read (In your browser) to start reading.

OverDrive Read works like any other eBook reader or reading app, except it opens directly in your browser. Learn more about OverDrive Read features here.

Open OMC for Windows Phone and tap an eBook from your bookshelf to open it. If you have not yet borrowed and eBook from your library, learn how to here.
To go to the next page: Tap the right side of the screen.
To go to the previous page: Tap the left side of the screen.
Tap the middle of the screen to view progress and display the access menu.
Tap … (More) to show more options.
