How to transfer titles to a Sony Reader

For reading on the go, you can transfer eBooks to your Sony Reader using Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). If you have a Sony Reader Wi-Fi (PRS-T1 or PRS-T2), you can download eBooks directly from your library without a computer or any extra software.

Note: These instructions are for ADE 2.0. Please make sure you're using the most up-to-date version before continuing

What you need

• Adobe Digital Editions installed on your Windows or Mac computer

• A Sony Reader

• USB cable that came with the Sony Reader

• An eBook

• Adobe Digital Editions

• An Adobe ID

• Both your Sony Reader and your computer authorized with the same Adobe ID

Transferring eBooks to a Sony Reader

1. Connect the Sony Reader to your computer.

2. Open ADE on your computer. Make sure you're in 'Library' view.
   Your Reader should show up under 'Devices.'
   
   Note: If you don't see your device, you may need to install some additional software. Please check your Sony Reader's documentation for more information.
   
   

3. Click on an eBook then drag it over to your Reader.
   
   

Once the transfer is complete, you can disconnect your Reader and start reading. Enjoy!
